A Huge Ottawa Indians RFC congratulations to David Stoltz (U16) and Myles Donoghue (U18). Both of these young men were selected to join National Level camps in their respective age groups.
David was selected to attend the National Under 17’s East development camp held at the University of Guelph during the weekend of Oct. 8-11, with 41 players from Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec and Ontario in attendance.
The camp focused on introducing David and his fellow players to the training level and attention to detail required to play international rugby. Additionally, the Guelph camp is designed to develop competencies in several core theme areas and at the same time introduce a focus on the positional specific requirements of each player during match play. Hopefully David can bring some of the things he learns back to the club environment.

Myles is once again representing the Ottawa Indians RFC and Eastern Ontario at the national level. For the National U18 program a 52-man roster has been named and a camp will be held from October 14-18 at Shawnigan Lake, British Columbia. There will be a secondary camp in January with a location yet to be confirmed. Finally, there will be an Easter Tour to Europe. Hopefully Myles can make that squad going to Europe, as it would be a great life and sporting experience.
