Two Indians Players invited to Canada U17 East development camp

September 22, 2014

The Ottawa Indians RFC would like to take this time to give a huge congratulations to Myles Donoghue and Craig Dawe (of our U16 program) for their selection to the Canada u17 East development camp this past weekend in Guelph.  There were a total of 39 players (27 from Ontario) that went to this development camp, along side Ontario players were players from Newfoundland, PEI, New Brunswick, Quebec and Manitoba.  Myles and Craig were two of only three players from Ottawa to get invited – Quinn Nadon-Stencill (Bytown Blues) being the third.

Players were nominated by their Provincial Coaches, selecting those who had outstanding performances at the Rugby Canada National Championships Festival this past August in Calgary. The next stage for some of these athletes will be a West v. East camp, set to be held this Spring in British Columbia.

Congratulations guys and keep up the great work!!
