Parents, we know that supporting your child’s physical literacy is a tough job. Which is why the Ottawa Ospreys Rugby Football Club wants to offer you the tools to positively support and encourage your young rugby player.
On Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 10:30-11:30AM at the Beckwith Recreation Complex, Ospreys Senior Women’s Coach Fred McCrossan will be hosting the first Rugby FUNdamentals training session for parents and guardians.
Fred will answer questions about the rules of the game and provide practical demonstrations. If you’ve ever wanted to help your child with their ball handling skills, run an at-home drill or simply understand what “knock on” means, this is your chance to get off the sidelines and get involved!
The Rugby FUNdamentals for Parents & Caregivers training session is offered FREE of charge. No prior rugby knowledge or experience is necessary – just bring a pair of running shoes and your enthusiasm.
✨SPECIAL NOTE✨ Should Junior player parents wish to participate in the FUNdamentals session, your Junior player is welcome to attend and volunteer during the Ottawa Ospreys RFC Mini-Rugby training that runs from 10:30-11:30AM.
