The Ottawa Indians Rugby Football Club

Ottawa Indians Rugby Football ClubThe Ottawa Indians Rugby Football Club is a community oriented club, based out of the West End of Ottawa, the capital city of Canada. The Ottawa Indians offer several programs that range from kids programs, high school ages and our senior men and women premier competitive programs. The Ottawa Indians welcome people from all backgrounds and diversity for our social and competitive teams. The Ottawa Indians Rugby Football Club is a non-profit organization that is committed to developing the growth of rugby in Ottawa and in Eastern Ontario.

Established in 1962, the Ottawa Indians have been part of the Ottawa community by coaching in local high schools, by participating in the Ottawa’s Annual Spring Clean Up, and with some of our social events supporting charities such as the Canadian Paraplegic Association.

The club is named after the actual Ottawa Indians tribe, which traces their origins to the Ottawa River area, although through many forced migrations now live in Oklahoma.

The  Ottawa Indians Rugby Football Club will be celebrating their 50th anniversary this year-2012.
